• paper weight

• fabric type

• fabric weight

• paper sizing (ex. A4, A5)

• measurements in centimeters for apparel

If you are ever concerned that one of our products does not match the data we're providing you, please DM us immediately with the concern. We accept verified reports from any customer and take very drastic action on them as soon as we can. You will be appropriately thanked with a 20% off coupon and free shipping for your next order.

We verify quality directly from the factory, instead of forcing you to rely on other customers for quality-testing.

We only accept returns after 14 days on items that are damaged upon delivery.

If your package has been marked delivered, but some dude took it without permission and now you need buy some art supplies from us for reasons, please get in touch via our Shipping Policy.

We accept returns on items that are damaged before they arrive to you or undergo a mechanical failure of the manufacturing process. If you are buying a handmade object, there is a marking at the beginning of the copywriting stating, "HANDMADE - refunds at artist's discretion." The artist's bio will state if they have their own shipping policy and for handmade objects, their shipping policy IS our shipping policy. All artistic partners function under our co-op arm, thus return policies may differ.

We would ask that you please take a photo of the damage or fault if you wish to be refunded, instead of having the item replaced.

Starting 1 August, we will be offering three-day guaranteed to anywhere in the UK and 30-day guaranteed to anywhere else in the word.

The reason that we don't offer a more complete shipping solution yet is because Vellums is based on the concept of a completely certified supply chain. Establishing the shipping portion of this chain is difficult and time-consuming. But we're working on it behind the scenes.

What is a certified supply chain?

Large haul sites often charge $2-5 per item to the supplier as a fulfillment charge, in order to offer you "free shipping" in a hurry. This has created monopolies at every level that leads down and up from fast fashion. We are unable to offer direct competition to these sites yet, because we believe in ensuring our entire supply chain is free of forced labour at any and every level. Whether it's Uncle Talon at the paper factory or Uncle Scott in shipping, we only use vetted suppliers.

Our shipping supply chain verification will be ready 1 September 2026.
